Total Sadness

Ok, so we did this project where we had to go to wefeelfine.org and find a quote from a blog and illustrate it. I ended up finding one about this guy who is having a really bad time with his wife. He still loves her and everything, but it sounded like she wasn't in love with him anymore. The blog he wrote was pretty intense and sad, so I thought I would try and capture that emotion.

This was also an experiment in mixing media, like pen and ink and acrylic.

First gouache attempt

This is kind an older piece, but was an experiment with gouache. Not much of a concept behind it, just a portrait basically. Actually, I think that the concept had to deal with floating.
